Located in the heart of the University of Dundee Campus, just a few minutes walk from the City Centre, the DDEC Conference Centre provides an ideal venue for events and training. Based in the newly refurbished Frankland Building, in an idyllic garden setting, DDEC offers flexible meeting spaces to accommodate most types of events. From small business meetings to larger conferences or receptions, all eventualities can be catered for. Groups from 2 to 90 can be accommodated within the Centre’s facilities.

Dundee itself offers a variety of good quality hotel accommodation to suit all budgets, an international mix of restaurants and cafés, excellent shopping facilities in the pedestrianised centre and a choice of unique visitor attractions, making it an important regional centre as well as Scotland’s fourth largest city. The City has excellent road, rail and air links, and is within easy travelling distance of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen with their international airports.  

Our dedicated events management team are on hand to ensure that all your needs are met: from initial enquiry, advice on room set up and hospitality choices, to comprehensive AV and technical support during the event. If hotel accommodation is required, the team will advise on the options available and can assist with your booking. As a fully equipped business centre, we offer wireless connectivity and secretarial support on request. Trips to visitor attractions in the area can also be organised if you would like to include this in your event programme.
